The Merchant Taylors Hall, one of the world's finest surviving medieval guild halls steeped in history, with medieval beams, a roaring fire in cooler months and a magical atmosphere year-round offering a romantic and unforgettable venue for your wedding celebrations.

Set in the heart of York against the city's ancient walls, the Hall offers a choice of rooms, the Great Hall, the Blue Hall, and the Master's Room, to accommodate 20 to 120 guests and we even offer some convenient on-site parking with a booking.

From start to finish Merchant Taylors’ Hall has been the perfect wedding venue both the Great Hall and Blue Hall are beautiful and unique. It honestly felt like every effort was made to create the perfect day for us and all our guests were stunned by how grand and gorgeous it is.
